Collection: Conductor
GANELEC supplies the transformer manufacturing industry with a wide range of conductor products:
- Enamelled Aluminium Wire is used in transformers because it is lighter than copper (with only about one-third the weight of copper). This makes it easier to handle and less expensive to transport. Moreover, aluminum is more flexible than copper, which can be an advantage in some installations.
- Enamelled Copper Wire also known as Magnet wire is a copper wire coated with a thin insulation and is a principal component of transformers, inductors, motors, and other electrical devices. The enamel is typically a polymer film that provides a tough continuous layer of insulation.
- Paper Wrapping Wire is wrapped around the core, these wires efficiently carry electricity while the paper insulation protects against leaks and adds mechanical strength. Like tireless workhorses, they ensure transformers reliably deliver power throughout their long lifespans.
