GANELEC is a family-owned business with over 23 years of experience as a manufacturer, agent, and distributor.
The company operates through four specialised divisions:

- Renewable Energy
- Electronics
- Commercial Steel Products
With a manufacturing factory based in Johannesburg, South Africa, GANELEC ensures that all products comply with IEC standards and are backed by government approvals. Our manufacturing division is ISO 9001:2015 certified to ensure our commitment to quality assurance.
GANELEC is a level 2 BBBEE contributor and is 51% black woman-owned.

Eric S Gander - General Manager
Eric holds a BComm degree from UNISA and brings over 30 years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, client management, and contract negotiations. His strong entrepreneurial spirit is a valuable asset to both GANELEC and its customers. Eric is committed to continually adapting the company’s offerings to meet the demands of the ever-changing transformer and renewable energy market.

Marguerite Doig - Marketing Director
Marguerite serves as the Marketing Director at GANELEC. She holds a BA (Honours) in Speech, Hearing, and Language and brings over 22 years of experience in business development, marketing, collaborations, and marketing strategy. Her expertise plays a crucial role in driving GANELEC's growth and enhancing its presence in the market.

Brenda Matlou - Production Director
Brenda serves as the Production Director at GANELEC, playing a pivotal role in managing our manufacturing division. With her excellent communication skills, commitment to teamwork, and strong problem-solving abilities, Brenda is a significant asset to both our business and our customers. She holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, further enhancing her expertise in the field.
