Bimetal Thermometers

This thermometer is designed for the indication of oil temperature in transformers. It is fitted with two electric switches and a maximum indicating pointer.

The thermometer operates efficiently under very hot and very cold weather conditions.

Construction

All components are surface treated or made of comosion resistant materials. The temparature sensingelement is a bimetal helix. Setting of contacts is indicated on the indicating scale.

Case

The casted aluminium alloy with baked enamel finish overa first coat of etching primer. Clear transparent window of tough acrylic plastic, weatherproof according to DIN 40050.

Switches

Two micro switches rated at 5A 250 VAC or 0.2 A 250V DC.

Electrically seperated switching circuits.The switches closeon temperature rise. Insulation tested to ground at 2000V for 1 minute.

Maximum indicating pointer

Resettable from the outside by means of a knob.

Meassuring range

10-120℃

IP 55

Accuracy: ±5℃
