Nytro BIO 300X Super Grade Transformer Oil

With the launch of NYTRO® BIO 300X, Nynas introduces the inaugural product in its new bio-based range, expanding its portfolio of advanced transformer fluids and reinforcing its commitment to sustainable solutions.

NYTRO® BIO 300X is the culmination of years of rigorous research, offering a 100% renewable transformer fluid that delivers superior performance—a true innovation in sustainable electrical insulation.

One of its standout advantages is exceptional cooling efficiency due to its ultra-low viscosity, enabling significant reduction in the transformer's winding hotspot temperature. Early studies indicate potential temperature improvements of up to 10°C compared to mineral oils complying with IEC 60296, and around 20°C lower than ester-based liquids meeting IEC 61099 or 62770. This opens up new possibilities for thermal design optimisation and increased overload capacity.

In addition, NYTRO® BIO 300X combines full biodegradability with outstanding oxidation stability. Like all Nynas products for the electrical industry, it is fully recyclable, emphasising our commitment to environmental sustainability.

Meeting and exceeding IEC 60296 standards, NYTRO® BIO 300X provides transformer OEMs and utilities greater flexibility in selecting the most suitable fluids for diverse applications, supporting both performance and sustainability.
